The T-bill auction was covered and the tail was small. That is a placement fact, not a signal for the curve behind it. Bills are taken because the market wants to park cash, not because it is opening a recession bet.
In the client book, uninvested cash stays in the sweep until a published rate and a bank list exist. Bills are the described instrument for that liquidity once the page is live.
A small tail says the auction was clean. It does not say where the two-year goes tomorrow.
